Momzi Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026. This describes what Momzi collects and why.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone number, password (never stored in plain text -- handled by our authentication provider).
• Children's information: your children's first names and birthdates, used only to show age-appropriate activities. Never shown to other members beyond a first name and age range.
• Photos: an optional profile photo and optional activity cover photos you choose to upload.
• Location: your approximate location, used only to show nearby activities. We do not show your precise home address to other members -- activities take place at public locations you or a host choose.
• Messages: content of chat messages you send within activity groups or direct chats, stored so conversations persist across devices.
• Device push token: used only to deliver notifications you've opted into (reminders, chat messages, activity updates).
• Basic usage events: e.g. that you opened the app or joined an activity, to help us understand and improve the product. We do not collect message content or unnecessary personal data as part of this.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not show your phone number or exact location to other members. We do not use your data to show ads.

Who can see what

Other members can see: your first/display name, profile photo, activities you host or attend, and messages you send them directly or in a shared group chat.

Your controls

You can edit your profile and children's information, control which notifications you receive, block another member, report an activity or a member, and permanently delete your account at any time from Profile settings.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, children's records, and messages within a short period.
